Perfect Teacher

On Saturday, thanks to my mum, dad, Cedric and Hawick High School, I was able to venture out of baby land for the day and go to the Cardronna Hotel near Peebles.

Along with 70 of my colleagues from school we listened to 3 speakers talk on the subject of being an effective teacher leader, ate some lovely food and then had a fine Ceilidh.

Loved seeing my old colleagues, dancing with folks, including a man from Sierra Lione (sp?) who's never Ceilidh before. (he was here on a teacher exchange program)

Cedric was able to join me for the Ceilidh in the evening. He's actually not at school today as he has caught the cold which has taken most of his voice away. Lemsips seem to be doing their job though.

Hurray for Dundee United, and thanks to mum and dad for babysitting.
