The Philosophers Timeline

Like many Scottish high schools our school has changed timetables and all years have moved up one. I therefor have a wee bit of spare time when I am scheduled to teach first years but the darlings are actually still in their primary schools. I have been using this extra time wisely, planning courses for the new senior students, recycling paper and jotters and creating a visual aid 'The Philosophers Timeline' for on the wall of my classroom. It shows, names dates and a few faces of folks who've pondered over the bigee questions in life. I've even stuck my own mugshot up to stimulate discussion. One pupil has already asked ' Miss what's your face doing up on the wall with all those weird looking men?'
