Easter Holidays!!!

The start of two glorious weeks of relaxation! Been organising lots of services and am starting to feel like the Taize roadshow. Cedric and I are off to mum and dad's static caravan in Crail tomorrow and then to Brussels to visit his brother and his family. Ahhh holidays. This odd looking picture was taken in my classroom and is an unfortunatley blurry shot of Joss Shearman's plastecine model display. It was designed and created during our unit on the ethics of genetic engineering and shows a woman who has had IVF treatment and her spare embryos (in the white dish) about to be stored in the freezer for later stem cell research purposes.( well of course you had already worked that out for yourself) On a less frivolous note...I visited Norman Chipakupaku today to give him a cheque for Christian Blind Mission, an amount that was raised at our end of term Easter Assembly. Also listened to the sad tale of his sister-in-law passing away last week of AIDs and how he is now responsible for her 4 children as their father died of the same disease last year. He is trying to adopt and bring them over here to live with him and his family. Bless.
