The Wedding Week

This week (on Wednesday) Julie gets married. Annick has been cleaning the house in preparation for her guests, for the past 2 weeks. She'll no doubt have even more tidying up after we all leave - many thanks.

I survived and much enjoyed Julie's hen day/night, known here as the 'internment de un jeune fille' trans 'the burial of a young woman.' Well we buried her in style with a treasure hunt with challenges for Julie (pic beside fountain), sauna, swimming, tea n smoke thing (pic) pot luck super, singstar (pic) and a personality test.

Tomorrow David and Helene arrive from Brussells, Monday my folks from Dundee and Helene's parents with Leo and Louis from Montpellier.

Thanks to Granny Duff for the pancakes recipe over the phone. I was asked to bring something Scottish for the supper and they went down a treat x
