New TV tastic?

We've just had a lovely weekend in the sun with my mum and dad.

Cedric was in the north of England on Friday night with the Hawick football team (school staff trip's quest for real ale and banter.)

On Saturday my mum and dad, Matthew and I went to a garden centre then Hawick. We had a lovely picnic, bought a new tv (ours has been slowly dying), and did a bit of gardening.

Wee rant - I have been surprised by the amount a new TV costs these days (over £300) and by the standardised choice that's on offer. Why do TV screens have to be so big? What's really so good about a flat screen? Why do they have to be black? Hmmph. No big deal really. Thank you to dad for setting our new set up for us and to mum for cleaning our wee garden. As well as for entertaining Matthew last night when he was reluctant to go to his bed.
