8 things about me

As my old Uni friend Louise Connelly asked so nicely here's 8 things about me, and then I'm going to tag (or tig or something??) someone else to do the same.

1. I spent a week in silence last year in Taize

2. I don't think Salman Rushdie should have his whatsit award from the Queen. Not because his writings were offensive but because they're too complicated for me to understand - and that annoys me.

3. I don't like baked beans

4. I really like tinned mackerel and prunes (not together)

5. I love it when you're in a caravan and it rains really hard

6. When I make spelling mistakes on my blog my dad e-mails me them

7. I'm currently watching season 3 of Angel and loving it.

8. I get really annoyed when the news leads with a story about celebrities (like Beckham or the Hamster guy), which is really to entertain or titilate people, instead of actual informative news which we should be concerned about.
