Nurses are great

I'm very grateful to the nurses at the Selkirk Health centre for bandaging me up so well after my fall the other day. I was on my way to the doctors with Finlay in the sling for our 6 week health checkup when I slipped on the gravel and fell. Thankfully Finlay was unhurt, but my hands and knees were pretty cut up (I was wearing a skirt not trousers.)

Today my wounds were re -bandage after their wet healing. I hadn't known that nowadays cuts are left with dressings on for longer and not left to scab over in the fresh air as they were when I was wee.
