At the weekend

At the weekend I finished the lovely donkey jigsaw that Annick sent for us at Christmas time. Found it very therapeutic to do and enjoyed listening to Radio 4 at the same time. Cedric is working on it now and has nearly finished it in 2 days! He's got talent.

My folks came through on Saturday and did a few odd jobs around the house as well as looked after Matthew for us. The picture is of dad installing a new door bell abley assisted by Matthew. Who would have thought it would take so many tools.

Now that it's February there are on paper 17 days to go for me and I am starting to finish off all of the important cleaning and preparing jobs. The cot is up, the blankets are all washed, the pram's been sponge cleaned, the babysuits are all looked out, my hospital bag is packed and the house is getting to be a lot less dusty and stuffed with junk.

This afternoon's job is to make some pea and ham soup (for lunch and then to freeze the rest for when I'm too busy to cook) and continue to tidy the baby's room. My next post'll be a before and after shot me thinks.
