Fun and games

Just discovered Marilynn Robinson's writing and in particular her excellent comments on the dialogue between - science and religion.

She's fairly well known in America and in literary spheres and has just published 'All in the Mind' which, among other things, shows the similarities between the parlance of really good scientific investigation of cosmology and good religious discussion of the ultimate.

Chez Raffier is pretty cramped at the moment as the Couty clan and Bruxelles pose are all staying for a few days.

Top tip for today - Don't book Dover to Calais ferry crossing when you really meant to book Calais to Dover.....as if you do it costs you £10 to change your mistake. That being said the P&O people are very obliging on the phone!
