Glasgow's westend explored

Another pic of Cedric, and Jenni in the background. It was a great outfit.

We've just had two nice In-service days followed by an overnight trip to Glasgow to see Ali Miller. Really enjoyed being in Glasgow's westend, eating in a nice Italian and taking an autumnal stroll around the botanics and Kelvingrove park.

A little fact I just found out is that - 'SAUCHIEHALL STREET'
derives its name from being formed on a haugh or meadow where saugh trees grew. It's apparently a corruption of the Scotch word "sauchiehaugh." So now we can sleep easy.

Other exciting news?! is that I've just put up a shelf in the bedroom with only a little help from the kind DIY maestro D Bethune. I got the holes and roll plugs in myself but had bought the wrong size screws apparently. Fingers crossed it stays up.
